"X-Men" invaded New York's Ellis Island last night, for the celebrity-infested premiere of the Marvel Comics-inspired action flick. Among the 150 guests who ferried past Lady Liberty to the bash, which was topped off with fireworks: cast members Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, James Marsden and Anna Paquin, as well as Ashley Judd, Spike Lee, Taye Diggs, Star Jones and David Copperfield. Berry, 33, had heads turning with her outfit, a yellow-beaded bikini top and pants. As the actress, who plays Storm in the movie, told PEOPLE, her own head was nearly crushed during filming. "Tyler (Mane, who plays Victor Creed/Sabretooth) really bashed my head into a wall one time. He forgot that I wasn't the stunt double, and he really smashed my head one time into the glass." And can that guy smash: Mane, who stands at least 6-ft.-9, is a former professional wrestler.
