In what is considered to be a much-needed shot in the arm of the Al Gore Presidential campaign, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg will speak on the candidate's behalf at the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles next month, reports NBC News. Schlossberg's speech will take place during a primetime slot on the second night of the gathering, says NBC, and she will share the spotlight with her uncle, Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy, though she will speak separately -- and solo. Kennedy, was nominated in Los Angeles (in 1960).
