'Survivor' Contestant Wanted -- Really

08/21/1998 at 12:00 AM EDT

"Survivor" contestant Kelly Wiglesworth, 23, has more than desert island rats and tribal challenges to deal with. Police in Greensboro, N.C., are saying that Wiglesworth is wanted on a five-year-old warrant for having allegedly helped to steal a credit card and then using it to eat in a restaurant. The crime carries a maximum sentence of 15 months in jail, but Greensboro Police Sgt. K.D. Meredith told the Associated Press that first offenders usually just get probation. Wiglesworth, a tour leader of river-rafting trips in Nevada, could not be reached for comment. (She actually is already off that South Seas island, since "Survivor" was previously filmed for current broadcast.) "If she comes into North Carolina and we find her," said Meredith, "we'd arrest her."
