Britney: Sexy, Who Me?

Britney Spears claims she's nonplused over why men find her cool -- as in comfortable -- outfits so sexy. "I only wear these crop tops because other clothes would make me sweat when I dance," the pop star, 18, told the German edition of InStyle magazine. (InStyle is a sister publication of PEOPLE.) "I never wanted this sexy image," she claimed. "I want to become like Madonna, only without all the men gossip and scandals." Spears also expressed regrets over her hair, nose and feet, and said she thinks that her legs are too short. Meanwhile, she canceled shooting a Clairol hair care commercial out of sympathy for union actors who are now approaching the 90th day of their strike against commercial producers. She also promised to make donations to the Screen Actors Guild Foundation of $1 per ticket from her New Jersey concert this Sunday. *NSYNC, in a similar show of sympathy, will do the same at their Saturday performance in New York.
