A private plane carrying Paul Newman was forced to land in New York last week after a minor electrical problem was detected, his spokesperson confirmed on Friday. The Oscar-winning actor, 75, was reportedly headed home to Connecticut following a visit to a New York camp for ill children he co-founded. The plane was forced to land south of Albany, where the actor and an associate who works for his Newman's Own food company proceeded by car. Newman was recently seen in this year's "Where the Money Is" and has said in interviews that he plans to make one more movie before he retires.
