PEOPLE Bachelor is GOP Heartthrob

The Republicans seem to have their very own heartthrob, but he was seen in the pages of PEOPLE before he hit this week's GOP's National Convention in Philadelphia. George P. Bush -- known among his family as "P" -- was among the Top 10 Most Eligible Bachelors in PEOPLE's special cover story last month. (He came in at No. 4.) On Monday, P, who is 24 and the son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and his wife, Columba, spoke at a convention-related "American Dream" luncheon, reports USA Today. Among P's revelations: His grandmother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, whom he calls "The Enforcer," told him "not to be a show-off" and "keep my speech to a few minutes." He apparently minded his grandma.
