Helen & Hank: Separated

A publicist for Helen Hunt confirmed on Friday that the Oscar-winning actress has been separated from actor husband Hank Azaria for several months. "It's a decision they came to together," said Hunt's publicist, Steven Huvane, who added, "they're still very good friends." No further details were given about the split. The Hollywood couple, together since 1994, married in Los Angeles in July 1999. Hunt, 37, a four-time Emmy winner for her starring role on "Mad About You," won a Best Actress Oscar for 1997's "As Good As it Gets." Azaria, 36, the voice of several characters on "The Simpsons," also played a dog walker in a recurring role on "Mad About You" and was nominated for an Emmy for the 1999 miniseries "Tuesdays with Morrie." Hunt will soon be seen in "Cast Away" with Tom Hanks and "What Women Want" with Mel Gibson and just signed to star in Woody Allen's next film.
