Bowie & Iman: It's A Girl

It's a girl for David Bowie, 53, and his wife, Somalian-born model Iman, 44. Alexandria Zahra Jones was born on Tuesday and weighs 7 lbs. 4.6. oz. (Bowie's given name is David Robert Jones.) "David assisted in the delivery and cut the umbilical chord," his publicist said. No other details about the birth have been provided, though a friend of the couple's, Paul Wilmot, told the New York Post: "With her looks and his looks, the modeling agencies should hurry and . . . sign the child right away." Bowie and Iman were married in 1992. This is the second child for both: Bowie's son Duncan Zowie, with ex-wife Angie, was born in 1971; Iman has a 22-year-old daughter, Zulekah, from her marriage to basketball's Spencer Haywood.
