Rap star Eminem agreed yesterday to surrender physical custody of his 5-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, to his estranged wife, Kim Mathers. Only two weeks after he filed for divorce, Eminem (whose real name is Marshall Mathers) also agreed to support his estranged wife, provide her with a chauffeur and reinstate her credit cards, according to the Detroit News. The couple had married in 1999. In addition, the Matherses reached an undisclosed settlement on the $10 million lawsuit that the missus had filed against the musician over his song "Kim," in which he rhapsodizes about killing her while Hailie looks on. In exchange for all this, Eminem is to have "liberal" parenting time when he is in Michigan. "Everybody took the high road, and everybody's got the best interest of the little girl at heart," Eminem's attorney, Harvey Hauer, told the News, adding that it is his client's primary concern "to do what's right."
