After complaining that she didn't care for the types of scripts she has been offered, Madonna is taking the bull by the horns. Variety reports that the Material Movie Star, whose new CD "Music" popped out this week, has optioned a movie script titled "The Long Hair Depression," described as a husband-and-wife love story set in Missouri in the 1970s. She is considering taking the leading role in the film, says the paper. This week in Rolling Stone, Madonna is quoted as saying, "I can't find a script that I like." Her complaint is that the roles that come her way, are "about mothers with children. With truculent teen-age daughters and stuff. Boring! I'm still a truculent teen-age daughter."
