Novelist Victoria Gotti, 35, the daughter of "Dapper Don" John Gotti, the reputed Mafia boss, has filed for divorce from her husband, Carmine Agnello, 40, reports gossip columnist Liz Smith. The couple, who had been childhood sweethearts, said Smith, married in 1984. The divorce filing took place in Nassau County, N.Y. Currently, Agnello, a scrap dealer, is in jail, having been indicted last March on federal charges of arson, extortion and tax fraud. Victoria's father and brother, John Gotti Jr., are also behind bars. The Agnellos have three sons. Friends of the couple told Smith that the marriage didn't work because Agnello was jealous of his wife's career. Victoria Gotti's latest novel is called "Superstar."
