Carlos Santana, who was the big winner at last February's Grammys, was also a big winner at last night's opening of the inaugural Latin Grammy Awards in Los Angeles -- with new awards to add to his shelf. Mexican singer Luis Miguel also took home three Grammys and the late Tito Puente was honored with a tribute performance by Ricky Martin and an award for best tropical performance (which his son, Tito Puente Jr., accepted on his father's behalf). Music wasn't the night's only draw. "We Latins not only make great music," actor Jimmy Smits said, "we look good doing it!" Christina Aguilera, who was recently named one of PEOPLE's Worst Dressed celebs, showed up in a sequined midriff-baring gown cut to the hip and supported by tiny straps made of silver chains. When it came time to perform, she pulled a Cher and changed into a candy-apple red miniskirt and long-sleeved halter top. Jennifer Lopez, who stunned fans at February's Grammy's with her barely-there Versace number, wore a truly tasteful -- and floor-length -- peach dress with a bejeweled neck-strap. Melanie Griffith wore peach, too.
