First the Emmy snub, and now this: Cast members of "The Sopranos" will not be marching in New York's Oct. 9 Columbus Day Parade, reports the city's Daily News. Columbus Foundation head Charles Gargano and other parade officials have told the paper that they are not interested in having actors from the hit HBO series about New Jersey mobsters participate in the annual event that traditionally celebrates Italian-American pride. "We are opposed to having them march in the parade," said Gargano, speaking on behalf of the group. "We all dislike the show very much." He said that it did not accurately portray Italian-Americans. On Sunday, James Gandolfini won the show's only Emmy (it had tied with "The West Wing" with 18 nominations) for his role as Tony Soprano.
