Rosie to Go to Press?
One year after Oprah Winfrey launched her own namesake magazine, O, Ros Rosie O'Donnell is reportedly wanting to join the multi-media fray. According to reports, the feisty TV talk hostess has been in talks with the German-owned, Manhattan-based G+JUSA Publishing (whose titles include Family Circle, McCall's and YM) about just such a venture. PEOPLE.com has learned from one G+J executive that the idea of a glossy Rosie magazine is being chewed over within the organization, where it is reputedly being greeted with mixed reactions. O'Donnell's spokeswoman, Lois Smith, however, tells this morning's USA Today, "People might have said, 'Wouldn't it be great if . . .,' but it's way too soon. So far, nothing has happened."
