Kennedy Sister on Mend
Eunice Kennedy Shriver, 79, the sister of President John F. Kennedy and Sen. Edward Kennedy and the mother of NBC News correspondent Maria Shriver, is recovering from a five-hour operation on Thursday to remove a benign pancreatic tumor, at Baltimore's Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her doctor, James Cameron (no relation to the "Titanic" director), told The Washington Post that she is expected to recover fully and have "a long, productive, healthy life." Shriver founded the Special Olympics in 1963, the same year her brother Jack was killed.
