They are the celebrities who the public just can't get enough of, according to 3,500 people who voted them that honor. The election was part of yesterday's eYada Gossip Summit in Manhattan, in which celebrity reporters from all manner of media -- including cable TV, supermarket tabloids, New York newspapers, The Washington Post and this representative from PEOPLE.com -- gathered to expose the dish on dishing. Liz Smith, the Mother Superior of all gossips, phoned in her two cents from the road, where she is on a book tour, recalling how her inside perspective of the Donald and Ivana Trump divorce case propelled her to fame and "made newspaper sales go up 50%." Celebrities who strolled into the summit separately included "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star Richard Belzer and "Survivor" cast member Dr. Sean Kenniff, who told USA Today that he's in talks with "Live!" for a regular medical spot on the Regis Philbin show, where he's already appeared. Responded the program's producer Michael Gelman: "We'd love to have him back, but nothing is confirmed for the future."
