Prosecutors in Hawaii say they don't expect Whitney Houston, 37, to make a personal appearance at her upcoming hearing on a marijuana-possession charge. An attorney will represent her instead. (There had been reports that she had requested the services of famed defense lawyer Johnnie Cochran, only he declined her appeal.) Originally scheduled for this Thursday, the court date has been pushed back to Nov. 2, reports the Associated Press. No reason for the delay has been provided. Last January, the pop diva's handbag was seized during a routine check by security guards at Keahole-Kona International Airport in Kailua-Kona. Police reported the bag contained half an ounce of marijuana. If convicted, Houston could face a jail sentence of up to 30 days and a $1,000 fine.
