One of the seven wishes that Elizabeth Hurley, as Beelzebub, grants Brendan Fraser, as Elliot, in the new remake of "Bedazzled" is to be a rock star. Only don't look for the wish to be granted in the finished version of the flick, which was directed by Harold Ramis ("Analyze This"). The Nov. 6 issue of PEOPLE reports that although the sequence was shot, preview test audiences found it too somber. The upshot: The entire episode was replaced and re-shot, this time with Fraser no longer playing a groupie-groping rocker, but (ahem) the President of the United States. The re-do was done this past August in London, where Hurley lives and Fraser was shooting "The Mummy Returns," reports PEOPLE. As for the rocker scene, all is not lost. Expect it to appear on the DVD.
