Lance Bass of 'N Sync is about to put his money where his mouth is. New York magazine reports that the 21-year-old singer -- who happens to be a bass -- is scouting Manhattan locations with an eye toward opening his own nightclub, which he reportedly plans to have fully operational by next summer. His business partner will be Eytan Sugarman, who already runs some of the city's hot spots, says New York. Sugarman's existing clubs include One51, said to be a popular hangout for the World Champ New York Yankees. As for the venture with Bass, Sugarman told the magazine that he expects it to be a sprawling venue with a capacity for 2,000 people and different music featured in various rooms. It will also be for all of the people, not an exclusive few. "We're not big on that whole velvet-rope thing," he said. Apparently, too, Bass is launching into the club world as a solo, as there has been no word on his being joined in this new foray by bandmates Joshua "J.C." Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone or Chris Kirkpatrick.
