Camryn Manheim is pregnant, the costar of the hit ABC legal series "The Practice" has told PEOPLE. The baby is due in April, and Manheim plans to be a single mother. The actress, 39, divulged the information exclusively to PEOPLE in order to put to rest rumors that have been circulating both on and off the set of the her TV show, for which she won the 1998 Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Dramatic Series. (Upon accepting her golden statuette at the ceremony, Manheim held it up and memorably declared, "This is for all the fat girls!") Manheim, who once described herself as "a five-foot-ten Amazon who isn't afraid to be naked or to kiss men or to be sexual," has long said that she was strongly influenced by her activist parents, and she was once arrested for marching in a pro-choice demonstration. Meanwhile, writers on "The Practice" have already incorporated a storyline in which Manheim's character, the feisty Ellenor Frutt, is expecting. The actress has no plans to divulge the identity of the father, her manager told reporters, though he did say that the baby will be a boy and that, at present, Manheim is "not publicly involved with anyone."
