Hopper Gets Bossy
Actor Dennis Hopper, 64, was on hand in New York Thursday night at an artistic fete in honor of the Hugo Boss Prize 2000, to award some lucky artist $50,000 and a three-month show at the Guggenheim Museum. As for what the "Blue Velvet" star had in common with the European design house, Hopper told PEOPLE, "I have been involved with Hugo Boss for a long, long time because of their involvement in the art world." Asked if he also goes for Boss threads, Hopper said, "I wear their clothes because I get them free and I love them. But I got involved with them because of the arts."
