Movie studios saw green this holiday weekend, and it wasn't just on the hide of the Grinch. The cumulative box office reportedly set an all-time record for a Thanksgiving weekend, with the top 12 movies alone taking in some $236.3 million, according to studio estimates on Sunday. The previous high, set last year, was $225.5 million, but that was for all the movies in release that weekend. By the time the dust settles and final figures are in for this year's Thanksgiving crop, the totals for the five-day holiday should reach $250 million, which should make for a lot of smiling Dalmatians, Rugrats and Angels.
