When it came to walking down the aisle on Nov. 18, the happy bride Catherine Zeta-Jones had some very simple instructions for her beaming groom, Michael Douglas: no crying. "He just has this look where I know he's about to start, and that does me in," Zeta-Jones told PEOPLE for its latest cover story. "I said, 'I don't even want you to look at me until I'm halfway down the aisle.' " But during their vows, with some 350 A-list guests as their witnesses and a 40-member Welsh choir filling the air with music, Douglas shed more than a few tears. In a way, the $1.5 million wedding held in New York City's Plaza Hotel left little to cry about -- what with 20,000 cream-colored roses, a 10-tier vanilla-and-butter-cream cake and a star-studded guest list that included the likes of Meg Ryan, Russell Crowe, Christopher Reeve, Goldie Hawn and Jack Nicholson. But when it was all over, Zeta-Jones was perfectly happy in the arms of her new husband. "When I look at Michael, I run around like a little girl," she reveals. "I can't believe I came into his life and he came into mine."
