Christmas has apparently worked its magic on battling couple Eminem and his wife, Kim Mathers. They have agreed to reconcile. "They've been working on this for a while and they're really happy. It's going to be a happy holiday and a happy new year for them," the Grammy-winning rapper's lawyer, Harvey Hauer, told Reuters. This week, Eminem (real name: Marshall Mathers) and Kim reportedly signed an agreement in Macomb County Circuit Court in Michigan to dismiss their mutual divorce actions. (Not that attorney Hauer won't continue to be clocking billable hours: Eminem's mother, Deborah Mathers-Briggs, is still suing her son for $10 million, claiming he's defamed her in his songs.) "Kim is pleased that she and her husband have been able to set their differences aside, particularly for the sake of their daughter, Hailie Jade," said her attorney, Neil Rockind. The private life of the twosome began making news early this summer, when Eminem was arrested for allegedly hitting a man in the head with a gun. The fellow was said to have been kissing Kim. In July, after Eminem had filed for divorce, Kim reportedly attempted suicide in the couple's home while he was performing at a nearby concert.
