MTV's "Senseless Acts of Video" host Troy Hartman, 26, made an emergency landing on a street about 40 miles outside of Los Angeles on Sunday when the engine of the experimental RV-4 airplane that he was piloting to Las Vegas lost power, say authorities. There were no injuries, Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Dan McPherson told the Associated Press. "We had time to deal with the situation, which was good, but we picked a couple of roads to land on, and I realized that they were pretty heavy traffic roads, a lot of cars down there, and it got stressful," Hartman, who had a passenger onboard with him, told L.A. TV station KTLA. "At about 1,000 feet, I realized we were running out of time." Hartman, who re-enacts stunts he has seen on music videos, touched down in Palmdale, Calif., at about 3 p.m. and taxied the plane about three miles to the airport, said McPherson.
