As idyllic a family event as the New Year's Eve wedding of "Almost Famous" star Kate Hudson, 21, and Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson, 34, seemed to be, not everyone in the bride's circle was included. "I was not invited," Hudson's father, singer-comedian Bill Hudson, is quoted as saying in the new issue of PEOPLE, "nor was her (half) sister Emily or her (half) brother Zachary. Kate and Emily talk, and you'd think everything was on a rosy path, but I guess not. I didn't even know she was getting married until three weeks ago." The bride's mother, Goldie Hawn, and the bride herself declined to comment. PEOPLE reports that Kurt Russell, who has long been Hawn's companion, gave Hudson away at the ceremony. (The wedding took place at the celebrity couple's 7,500-sq.-ft. home in Old Snowmass near Aspen.) Still, the event was a jolly one. After the ceremony, guests ended up at the Elk Mountain Lodge, where hip country band BR5-49 supplied the music -- though not all of it. Reports PEOPLE: Robinson serenaded his bride and performed a riotous Elvis duet with Russell.
