Former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Jason Priestley, 31, will serve five days this month in a work-release program at California's Gateways Community Correction Center following his drunken-driving conviction in March of last year, reports USA Today. He will spend some nights at the private facility, which is not a jail, his spokeswoman said yesterday, and he will be able to work for up to 12 hours. In a statement, Priestley said he was "remorseful" about the incident in which he crashed into a pole in the Hollywood Hills, and that he "will respectfully fulfill his commitment" to the L.A. County Superior Court. Ironically, Priestley's costar on "90210," Shannen Doherty, 29, who played his twin (Brenda Walsh to his Brandon Walsh), was arrested late last month on suspicion of drunken driving. Her black Ford pickup, say police, was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol after it had been spotted drifting across the lanes of the Ventura Freeway. A hearing has been set for Jan. 26.
