'N Sync members Lance Bass and Joey Fatone will star in Miramax Films' $10 million romantic comedy "On the Line," which will begin shooting before spring, say two industry papers, the Hollywood Reporter and Variety. The story concerns a young guy (Bass) who meets the woman of his dreams on a commuter train, only he fails to get her phone number. A womanhunt ensues, abetted by the hero's best friend (Fatone). So far, no director is attached to the project, but there is a script, based on an earlier short film called "On the L." There is also a soundtrack deal in place, with Jive Records. Jive, coincidentally, is also attached to a recently announced $10 million film project starring Britney Spears, an untitled romantic comedy with music.
