Pacino, D'Angelo Proud Parents

Oscar winner Al Pacino ("Scent of a Woman"), 60, and actress girlfriend Beverly D'Angelo, 49 (the "National Lampoon" movies), are the proud new parents of twins, a boy and a girl weighing just over five pounds, born in Los Angeles on Thursday night, announced the couple's publicist. Pacino, who last week was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 58th annual Golden Globe awards for his work in movies including "The Godfather" trilogy and is an eight-time Academy Award nominee, and D'Angelo have been dating for the past few years. Pacino, who's never been married, also has a daughter, Julie Marie, 11, with acting teacher Jan Tarrant. D'Angelo, a first-time mother, was married to Italian Duke Lorenzo Salviati from 1981 to 1992.
