Bob Dylan is set to perform a concert in Sydney, Australia, on March 31, but not if protestors have anything to say about it, according to the Associated Press. Local residents have protested against the proposed show at Byron Bay, located north of Sydney, fearing that the legendary folk singer's presence would create litter and traffic problems -- as well as attract thousands of fans and create a climate for other huge events. Michael Chugg, a tour promoter for Dylan, 59, who recently won a Golden Globe award for Best Original Song for "Things Have Changed" from the Michael Douglas film "Wonder Boys," says that the singer would like to proceed with the concert, but not if it makes people so unhappy. "If there's going to be any kind of controversy over the Byron Bay show, Bob doesn't want to know about it," Chugg said.
