Sean "Puffy" Combs not only has New York prosecutors on his back, but the anti-fur group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The rap entrepreneur, 31, showed off his Sean John line on a New York catwalk this past weekend, displaying edgy men's designs on often-shirtless models who otherwise sported mink vests, Persian lamb overcoats, crocodile pants and ostrich chinos, reports the Associated Press. Accenting the look were floor-length scarves of fox, mink or lynx tails. Enter PETA, who had earlier canceled their proposed protest of the fashion show because Puffy's people had reportedly assured them that no fur would be modeled. Combs's spokesman could not be reached for comment following the show, said AP, which noted that in addition to the hides that made their way down the runways, Combs also used plenty of denim and suede, both as patches and as pockets -- how very '70s -- in his fashion line. As for his legal woes, Combs's trial on charges of weapons possession and bribery stemming from a December 1999 nightclub shooting in Times Square continues on Wednesday.
