Former "Star Trek" star and ex-Priceline.com pitchman William Shatner, 69, and Elizabeth J. Martin, 42, a one-time high school homecoming queen, are now husband and wife, according to the Indianapolis Star newspaper, which reports that the couple wed in Lebanon, a central Illinois city with a population of 15,000. The ceremony, which occurred far from the prying eyes of the media, took place on Tuesday, the day before Valentine's Day, according to Martin's sister, Gayle Anderson. "It's absolutely true," she is quoted as saying in the Star's Thursday editions. "That's all we're saying." Eyebrows were raised earlier this week when the couple took out a marriage license in Boone County Courthouse. Martin is Shatner's fourth wife. His third, model Nerine Kidd, died Aug. 9, 1999, when she drowned in the swimming pool at the couple's Los Angeles home. An autopsy concluded that she was legally drunk at the time of her death, which was ruled an accident. Shatner's first two marriages ended in divorce.
