Just as Kucha was gearing up to face Ogakor in the last immunity challenge before the tribes were to merge, a devastating accident happened and this game called "Survivor" took a tragic turn. Mike was tending to the fire, as usual, when he inhaled a waft of smoke and was knocked unconscious. He then passed out in the fire -- severely burning his hands. As he boarded the chopper to be airlifted to the hospital, he urged his teammates to carry on...and told them they knew "what to do." As a result of the accident, the immunity challenge was called off, and the two tribes will merge on Episode 7...without Mike. Mike's condition and future status on the series are undisclosed. But for now, it's up to his remaining teammates -- Rodger, Jeff, Nick, Elisabeth and Alicia -- to give it their all as they merge with the Ogakor Tribe (Tina, Colby, Jerri, Keith, Amber) next week. Then it's every man for himself. Meanwhile, "Survivor" host Jeff Probst is dealing with an off-screen reality: divorce. Probst, 39, filed for divorce from his wife, psychotherapist Shelly Wright, 34, on Feb. 23, citing irreconcilable differences, reports the new issue of PEOPLE. The couple, who have no children, were married in 1996.
