Heather Locklear, 39, will be dressing up "Spin City" for at least another year, reports Variety, which notes that what her signature on a new contract means is that the ABC sitcom will be around for its sixth season. Despite the departure of the show's original star, Michael J. Fox, who left to take up the cause of fighting Parkinson's disease (from which he suffers), "Spin City" has managed to post solid ratings for ABC on Wednesday nights now that Charlie Sheen is the main star. Besides, notes Variety, ABC does not have an overabundance of comedy shows in its upcoming lineup. Only two, in fact: "The Drew Carey Show" and "Dharma & Greg."
