Eminem has reached a divorce agreement with wife Kimberly Mathers that gives the couple joint legal and physical custody of 5-year-old daughter Hailie Jade, the rapper's lawyer, Harvey Hauer, has told the Detroit News. Mathers and Eminem (real name: Marshall Mathers III) were married in June 1999. Kim Mathers filed for divorce on March 1, following a reported two-month attempt at rapprochement. The rapper, 28, sports a "Kim: Rot in Pieces" tattoo on his chest, PEOPLE has reported, and his songs " '97 Bonnie & Clyde" and "Kim" present tales of killing her. In proceedings that Hauer described as "not contentious at all," the couple worked out a temporary divorce agreement last week that will also give Eminem their $450,000 home, while Kim Mathers will receive $475,000 in cash in order to buy a house. The settlement, said the attorney, "was easily arrived at because each person was concerned with the family and concerned with the well-being of their daughter."
