"Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" Emmy winner Halle Berry, 34, and her husband, R&B musician Eric Benet, age undisclosed, have slapped the Star tabloid with a $5 million libel suit for describing their nearly four-month marriage as being "on the rocks." The Associated Press also reports that in its suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, the couple accuses the tabloid of invasion of privacy and infliction of emotional distress. In a statement, they said that last week's Star article was "offensive and baseless" and that falsehoods contained in it included statements that Benet had taken their child and "moved out of Halle's house for a few days" and "was looking for a condo of his own." Officials with the Lantana, Fla.-based Star did not immediately return AP's phone message seeking comment.
