J.Lo Unveils Clothes Line
Jennifer Lopez wants to get into your closet. "It's time for the world to wear my look," the singer-actress, 30, told reporters at a New York press conference on Thursday, where she introduced a new self-designed "sporty chic" urban women's wear line. "From little to voluptuous everybody gets to be sexy," she said while wearing white bell-bottomed hip hugger slacks with attached white suspenders, a tummy-baring white Lycra tube top emblazoned with a sequined Puerto Rican flag, and chunky silver high-heeled sandals. Her garb was far more modest than her famous diaphanous Versace Grammy gown of last year. The "J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez" line -- which eventually will also include eyewear, swimwear, accessories and a fragrance, said Lopez -- is backed by an investment group led by fashion and retail veterans Andy Hilfiger (Tommy's brother) and Larry Stemmerman, reports Reuters. The line is due in better stores for this year's holiday season. Prices will range from around $20 for a T-shirt to $850 for a leather skirt.
