Jenna Bush's Booze Rap
Jenna Bush, 19, daughter of President and Laura Bush, received a ticket for underage drinking from Austin police on Friday, after officers checked for minors drinking in the city's popular nightspots. (Jenna is a freshman at the University of Texas in Austin. Her twin sister, Barbara, attends Yale in Connecticut.) Bush and a friend were reportedly issued the citations at 1:30 a.m. The first daughter was drinking beer and did not appear intoxicated, said police. "Both girls were very cooperative, as were the Secret Service," said Assistant Police Chief Mike McDonald. The pair was not arrested. The White House declined to comment on the matter. Several years ago, Jenna's father was ticketed in Maine on a drunken-driving charge. He has claimed to be booze-free ever since.
