Kinnear, Wife Lose Baby

Greg Kinnear, 37, and wife of two years, Helen Labdon, 31 have lost the baby that they were expecting this summer, a spokeswoman for the couple told USA Today. The couple, she said, are "deeply saddened by the loss and have been greatly comforted by the thoughts and prayers of so many." The rep added that Labdon was about five months pregnant when she miscarried almost a month ago. No further information was given. This would have been their first child. Kinnear, most recently seen in "Someone Like You," "Nurse Betty" and "The Gift," is currently shooting a Vietnam movie with Mel Gibson, "We Were Soldiers Once -- And Young." In August he will appear in the HBO adaptation of the recent Pulitzer Prize-winning Off-Broadway comedy-drama, "Dinner With Friends."
