Doctors continue to monitor Cover Girl makeup model Niki Taylor, 26, who is under heavy sedation and listed in critical condition in an Atlanta hospital after suffering severe internal injuries as a result of an automobile accident early Sunday, her agent informed Reuters on Tuesday. The supermodel, who is the single mother of 5-year-old twin boys (Jake and Hunter), was a passenger in a car that crashed, said Lou Taylor of TriStar Management agency. In a brief statement, he said that the driver, who was not identified, lost control of the car and struck a pole. "There was no head injury, no facial lacerations. It was all internal trauma," said Taylor, who is no relation to the model. "It was very touch and go. They were not sure she was going to make it." Taylor, a Florida native, has been modeling since she was 13. Her younger sister, Kristen Taylor, was a promising model until she died from asthma in 1995 at the age of 17.
