Kidman Quiet on Cruise
Nicole Kidman, 33, was the center of attention at the Cannes Film Festival's opening night Wednesday. The $50 million movie musical in which she stars, "Moulin Rouge," received decidedly mixed reviews, while most reporters wanted to query her on her divorce from Tom Cruise after 10 years of marriage. (Cruise, 38, filed the papers in February, reportedly taking Kidman by surprise.) "I never comment publicly on (the divorce)," Kidman told Reuters TV in an interview. "All sorts of things are said, but I really believe that the only way to get through it with some sort of dignity is not to be discussing it, not using the media to play it out." Kidman seemed unfazed by the mixed reception to her movie, but on a personal level told French daily France Soir, "I still believe in love, I believe in the possibilities of love, and I'm still excited by the possibilities of my future."
