GILES PELLERIN, 91, the man known as U.S.C.'s Super Fan, whose remarkable streak of attending 797 consecutive University of Southern California football games ended Saturday afternoon. A 1929 graduate of U.S.C. and a retired telephone executive, Pellerin traveled more than 650,000 miles, visited more than 50 cities (including Tokyo), and spent more than $85,000 following the team he called his "family." He died in Los Angeles, at the Rose Bowl, during the second half of the U.S.C.-U.C.L.A. football game ... JOHN C. GRIMEK, 88, the only man to win the Mr. America bodybuilding competition twice, Friday, in York PA. Grimek, who competed in the 1936 Berlin Olympics as a weightlifter, won the Amateur Athletic Union's first Mr. America championship in 1940, then won again in 1941. The organization then changed its rules to prevent repeat winners.
