J. Peterman, whose nostalgic, high-priced clothing catalog has been imitated by other retailers and satirized on "Seinfeld." The retailer filed for bankruptcy protection from its creditors Monday. Company founder John Peterman told a Lexington (KY) TV station that the "holiday season in catalog was soft."
