Brad Pitt, as a bandleader everyone wants, in a new (untitled) movie to be directed by Cameron Crowe ("Jerry Maguire"). Variety says Crowe has already cast Anna Paquin, Natalie Portman and Meryl Streep in the story about a teenage girl who's given a shot at writing a book about a big-time rock-and-roll band.
