By Steven Spielberg, $500,000, to fund a state-of-the-art classroom for filmmaking students at the University of Southern California. The high-tech facility will be part of the Robert Zemeckis Center for Digital Arts. Director Zemeckis ("Forrest Gump"), a USC alum, has donated $5 million toward construction of the center bearing his name.
