By Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the rhinestone "jewels" worn by Marilyn Monroe while riding a pink elephant at the Greatest Show On Earth in Madison Square Garden in 1955, for $11,500. The baubles and two photos of Marilyn wearing them were offered by Sotheby's New York last week as part of an auction honoring icons of the '50s.
