A site for a memorial to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., by the National Capital Planning Commission, in Washington D.C., Thursday, after years of arguments. The memorial (which is seeking funds) will stand in the Washington Tidal Basin, in the company of monuments to Thomas Jefferson and Franklin D. Roosevelt and near the spot where Dr. King delivered his "I have a dream" speech.
