The $3 billion ticket sales mark, by Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera." Box office revenues for the special-effects laden musical are higher than those for any other film or stage play in history, including blockbusters like "Titanic," "ET" and "Star Wars," said a spokesman for the British composer's Really Useful Company.
