Mt. Sinai Hospital and two New York doctors, by "The Sound of Music" star Julie Andrews, 64, who claims that her famous singing voice was ruined by bungled surgery two years ago. The medical malpractice lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, alleges that her June 1997 surgery to remove a small polyp from her vocal cords ruined her ability to sing and "precluded (her) from practicing her profession as a musical performer."
