Ladd Cut from Video
Sherry Lansing, the head of Paramount Pictures, has apologized to the family of the late screen star Alan Ladd ("Shane"), who is erroneously named as a suicide in the new Michael Douglas movie "Wonder Boys." Lansing assured the surviving Ladds that the reference will de dropped from the video versions of the offbeat flick, reports Variety.
